Estreno en España de Death Proof. Después del tributo al género con guiños a tantas pelis que ha hecho Robert Rodríguez en Planet Terror sólo puedo destacar una buena sorpresa y una decepción sorprendente en Death Proof.
La sorpresa: nada de tributos. Tarantino se guiña a sí mismo, música inmejorable, buenos diálogos, ritmo muy real y actual. Una pelicula de serie B contemporánea. Nada de los 70, excepto al genial Kurt Russell y la estética de motores, chupas de cuero y chicas al más puro exploitation films. Un par de buenas excusas para que Tarantino se haya decidido a hacer la la pelicula que siempre quiso hacer. Eso, más un presupuesto increible.
La decepción: no ver todos los trailers pensados e incluidos en el estreno en sesión continua que se ha hecho en USA. ¿Por qué se ha dividido en Europa en dos estrenos? Será la pasta... pero los frikis de este blog no podemos dejar de revelarnos ante tal atentado a los principios de la serie B.
